Formation

Located in Guadalajara, Mexico, Vancouver International College was founded in 1999, and offers the same quality and academic level as elementary schools in Canada.

VIC was incorporated as part of the already-established language school, Vancouver Language Centre, which was founded in July 1997 with the presence of Jalisco state Governor representatives, and the President, Directors and staff of VLC.

Certification

VIC was built up with the purpose of combining the advantages of the Mexican and Canadian educational systems. VIC is officially registered by the "Secretaria de Educación Pública" (SEP), to start activities on August 23, 1999, using the educational program of the government of British Columbia and that of SEP in Mexico.

Thanks to the reputation built throughout these years, support and acceptance of the parents, VIC has grown in number of students and in quality of education and services.
